Had an awesome time last weekend with Rachel & her friends! We saw Abandon, Finding Favour & Ryan Stevenson in concert! JoAnna's mom Michelle came with us too! It was so much fun meeting the bands after the concert!
I had the chance to visit the Downtown Holiday Market in Washington, DC earlier this month & had an amazing time! There were many different talented artisans present and the weather was almost perfect during my visit.
Live musical performances were one of the highlights of the marketplace!
This is a yearly event that runs from late November thru just before Christmas! If I lived closer to the DC area I would love to participate as an artisan/vendor!
Just wanted to give a heads-up to everyone about this great Christmas shopping event!
Hippie Peaceniks team has teamed up with the Upcyclers team
to do some sale boards for the Cyber shopping weekend. We all know that
this will be a huge retail weekend, and very important to every
retailer. Etsians are counting on huge sales too!
The boards will open early on the morning of Black Friday and run until
Midnight PST on Cyber Monday (Nov 23- Nov 26). Each shop will be
featured on 2 separate boards and each board will contain 8 spots for
the Upcyclers team and 8 spots for the Hippie Peaceniks team. This will ensure the
maximum exposure and cross promotion.
Everyone who is participating has agreed to use a special coupon code so there will be all kinds of great deals available!
I know all the members of each team are busy preparing for a great holiday season. Many sellers are hard at work filling their shops with wonderful creations and lots of holiday related items!
Save the dates & come prepared to shop till ya drop!!
My daughter has been making headbands and other items to sell in the etsy shop. She had her first sale tonight and she was so excited! It is a great feeling when someone appreciates your creativity and hard work. Thanks Kerri from ChateauDeSable!
She is donating money from her sales to our church youth missions fund. All the money raised helps provide vehicles for missionaries. I'm so proud of her efforts.
She collected loose change and made money from garage sales this year. She was able to raise enough money to be a VIP at our state's midwinter youth retreat coming up this February!
One of Rachel's creations has also been featured in a treasury! It's been a wonderful day! Way to go Rachel!
